Hera F. (Bruhn), Carlson, was born March 14, 1930, to Martin and Hera Bruhn in Belle Mead, New Jersey. She was primarily raised in New Jersey, and moved to Oregon in 1960. Hera went to Mehulenburg Nursing School. She was married to John O. Carlson in November 11, 1961. John preceeded her in death June 13, 2010. Hera pursued a career in nursing. Her many hobbies included being a pilot, riding motorcycles, and she was a Master gardener. She was a member of Macksburg Lutheran Church in Canby, OR. She is survived by sons; Ronald O. Carlson, Daniel O. Carlson, a sister-Elizabeth Pearson, Grandsons; Aaron O. Carlson, Johnothon O. Carlson, and a grandaughter, Amey A. Carlson. Private Family Services held. Canby Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
